Honestly just something about here didn't light my fire. and yes there is a out door scene were it was in the room! Also I'm not a big fan of the girl who play Opheila (Sp) she didn't seem convicing to me. The Queens bedroom, the main hall, and so on. two out door scenes (give or take) but mostly everything indoors, is done in a black curtin room, with black shiny flooring.

The downside, like all movie have, it that there is about three different set and thats about it. Patrick Stewart, is brillant playing two different characters, but he nearly out shines David, with his cunning and dark ways. And well, frankly you forget his past, and can only see him as man seeking revenge for his murder father. I admit it was a little hard to see Hamlet in David because when his hair gets a little messy I see Doctor Who, but after a while, you see the passion, the anger in his eyes as Hamlet. I love David Tennant and Patrick Stewart and in this movie it just amazing. Praise to BBC for having the good sense to put these actors back together and film it for the viewing pleasures of everyone around the world. For any Tennant, Stewart, Downie, or Shakespeare fan, I recommend this film most highly. As always, the beauty of Shakespeare and the stunning performance of the actors transport you out of time.Īll in all, this is a performance that cannot be beat. They did a perfect job of blending the setting with the archaic language. I'm not normally a fan of modern settings for Shakespeare, but they made it work in this movie.
